Running with Purpose
This year, we joyfully celebrated our annual race in honor of Guatemala’s Independence Day, an event that not only exceeded our expectations in terms of participation but also became a space of fellowship, unity, and purpose. Dozens of runners, entire families, and groups of friends joined this activity that combined sports, joy, and values. It was inspiring to witness how energy and excitement spread with every step, filled with laughter, exhaustion, and a genuine spirit of camaraderie that made the day truly special.
Beyond the competition, the most meaningful aspect was the opportunity to share the Word of God with everyone present, reminding us that true independence is found in Christ and that every effort gains greater purpose when done to glorify Him. The race became a bridge to bring hearts closer, strengthen bonds, and sow hope in the youth of San Cristóbal.
We are deeply grateful to our dedicated team and volunteers, whose commitment made this event possible. A special recognition goes to Pablo West and Covenant Church, whose unwavering support allowed this project to come to life, promoting the spiritual and social well-being of our youth and community.
