Our first inclusive workshop for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students
At Cross Commission, it brings us great joy to support the community of students with hearing impairments in our local area. This past May, we experienced a truly special moment when we held our first student workshop. The classes were taught by an outstanding teacher who also shares this same disability, allowing us to provide a fully inclusive, relatable, and empathetic learning experience. We are infinitely grateful to God for providing us with this space and the blessing of supporting this group of exceptional students. But above all, we cherish the beautiful opportunity to serve our neighbors, fulfilling the purpose commanded by His Word: “For you, brethren, have been called to liberty; only do not use liberty as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another” (Galatians 5:13).
