REYNOLDS FAMILY ON ASSIGNMENT/GUATEMALA
GREETINGS FAMILY AND FRIENDS
Greetings to all
So, have you ever wondered what color eyes God has? No, I am not trying to start a new doctrine. It is just when Scripture gives God physical attributes it makes me wonder…
2 Chronicles 16:9 says ‘for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless towards Him.’
I love this Scripture and there are so many rich points here. But, I just want to think about God’s eyes. The eyes have been called the “window of the soul”; a person’s eyes can say a lot without any words spoken. Our kids always knew when we were in public that they were in incredible trouble if they got mom’s “bulging eyes.” I believe if we could see into His eyes they would blast us with every color of beauty in His attributes. Bursting with love, mercy, grace, compassion, justice, truth…and those eyes are searching the earth looking at the hearts of His people to give us strong support. Oh, those eyes…
REHOBOTH BAPTIST CHURCH
We want to send a shout out of thanks to Rehoboth Baptist Church of Kirksville Missouri, this was their 4th time to come and invest in the people of Guatemala. They spent 3 days and 2 nights in the village installing 16 stoves and then doing outreach in the afternoons in the communities where the stoves were installed. In each home, the team installing the stove gets to share the gospel with the family and offers to pray for any needs. They were able to pray and lead t
wo families to the Lord because of a cook stove!!! God can use anything to further His kingdom. Then through the afternoon outreach 6 individual people came to Jesus. Just an incredible time in Jesus. The team also hung out at the Zona, lead a few Bible classes and lead several young people to the Lord. Thank you, Rehoboth, for the continual investment you are making here. You are planting seeds that will reap an eternal harvest…
THANK YOU, FELICIA PETTIGREW!!!
Felicia is a young lady we have known since her teenage years, she was friends with our kids, she came on the team with the plan to stay a week longer to do some pictures and graphic artist work for the ministry. Wow! Did she bring new color and design to u
s. In the days ahead, you will see our new improved look.
Thank you so much Felicia Pettigrew for your incredible labor of love towards us and the ministry.
WELCOME MICHAELLA PECK
Many of you who have come on teams will remember Michaella Peck who interned with us last summer. Well, she is back again this summer to serve and teach, so thankful for her. We are so humbled and blessed by the people God brings in our lives to serve with us.
We would appreciate your prayers for us and our awesome staff as from July to September we have nonstop teams and guests God is so good to send the people to come and serve.
Philippians 1:27 : only let “our” manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so whether “you” come and see us or are absent, that you may hear we are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel (kind of paraphrased).
We are so blessed by each one of you who support us, pray for us, just the many special things each of you do, we thank you for standing with us. Remember His eyes are roaming over the earth to give strong support to you today.
